Founded 1970 in San Francisco
The original 1970 Agraria fragrances remain as popular today as they were 46 years ago. Maurice and Stanford formulated each scent to layer upon the next.
If you ever visited the San Francisco shop, you will remember the Dutch door that remained half-open allowing the fragrances to capture your attention as far away as the top of Nob Hill.
People were drawn into the store to inquire, "What is that fragrance?" The answer was always "That's Agraria." They would explain that all four fragrance "mix and mingle marvelously" to create the fifth fragrance, Agraria.
In 2004, we created a second family of fragrances we named after our second favorite American city, Santa Barbara. The newer fragrances are perfect companions to the Nob Hill Collection as they are both classic and contemporary - and also "mix and mingle marvelously."
Now "The Agraria Fragrance" is an even more complex layering of eight different fragrances.
